Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Always install new injector O-rings when servicing the fuel injectors. Lubricate the new injector O-rings with clean engine oil
  1. Install the O-rings (3, 4) on the fuel injector (5).
  2. Install the fuel injector clip (6) on the fuel injector (5).
  3. IMPORTANT: The fuel injector will click when the injector is installed correctly.
  4. Install the fuel injector (5) in the fuel rail (1) with the connector facing upward.
  5. Install the fuel rail (1). Refer to Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
