Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (2.2L (L61)) in Engine Electrical.
  2. Fig 1: View Of Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

  3. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor harness connector.
  4. Remove the CKP sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the CKP sensor.
