Accelerator Controls Pedal: Removal

  1. Remove the push-in retainers from the Insulator Panel (IP) insulator to instrument panel. Remove the press-on retainers from the IP insulator to dash mat. Unsnap the IP courtesy lamp from the IP insulator. Remove the IP insulator from the instrument panel.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from accelerator pedal. Remove the fasteners holding the accelerator pedal to the bulk head. See Figure. Remove the accelerator pedal.
