Accelerator Controls Pedal: Installation

1. Position the accelerator pedal to the bulkhead. Install the accelerator pedal bolt and stud. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
2. Connect the accelerator cable to accelerator pedal. Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal. Also inspect the carpet fit under the accelerator pedal.
3. Snap the IP courtesy lamp into the IP insulator. Position the IP insulator to the instrument panel. Install the push-in retainers to the IP insulator to instrument panel. Install the press-on retainers to the IP insulator to dash mat.
