Installation Procedure

  1. Use a heat lamp or heat gun in order to warm the body panel to a minimum of 21°C (70°F).
  2. Peel the backing from the front end of the sliding door auxiliary weather strip. DO NOT touch the adhesive backing.
  3. Press the auxiliary weatherstrip to the body.
  4. Hand roll the rear side door auxiliary weatherstrip to the body in order to ensure proper adhesion.
  5. Install the rear quarter window. Refer to WINDOW REPLACEMENT -- REAR QUARTER in Body Rear End.
