Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Eldorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the bulbs (3).
  2. Install the stop lamp (1) to the rear shelf.
  3. Engage the stop lamp (1) to the retainer slots in the rear shelf panel (2).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the fastener (4).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fastener to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Slide the high-mounted stop lamp cover rearward in order to engage the retainer clips to the rear shelf panel.
