Metro (A/T)
Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch harness connector. Using DVOM, check for continuity between specified terminals in accordance with shift lever position. Ensure there is no continuity to ground, or to any other terminals. See PNP SWITCH CONTINUITY (METRO) table. See WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Replace PNP switch if test results are not as specified.
