Arm System With Switch

Turn ignition off and remove key. Open door. SECURITY indicator light should flash. If light does not flash, see TEST 6: SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT INOPERATIVE  under SYMPTOM TESTS. With door open, lock doors using power door lock switch. SECURITY indicator light should stay on. Close all doors and liftgate. SECURITY indicator light should flash slowly, indicating system is armed. If system will not arm or go into alarm mode, see TEST 2: CTD ALARM MODE INOPERATIVE  under SYMPTOM TESTS. If system has intermittent false alarms, see TEST 3: CTD SYSTEM ENTERS ALARM MODE INTERMITTENTLY  under SYMPTOM TESTS. If SECURITY indicator light does not illuminate, see TEST 6: SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT INOPERATIVE  under SYMPTOM TESTS.
