Removal & Installation
- Disconnect Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) harness connector. See Fig 1
. Disconnect wheel cylinder brake pipes from Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV). Gently reposition brake pipes to allow removal of BPMV/EBCM.
- Remove upper BPMV bracket mounting bolt that connects upper BPMV mounting bracket to lower mounting bracket. Remove BPMV and EBCM as an assembly. Remove EBCM if only replacing BPMV.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM
. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
