A/C Compressor Control Module

The A/C compressor control module is mounted to evaporator case, and controls operation of A/C compressor clutch in response to signals received from dual-pressure switch, evaporator thermistor and Powertrain Control Module (PCM). With A/C system in operation, compressor control module engages compressor clutch upon demand when conditions are favorable, and de-energizes clutch when system pressure is high or low, evaporator temperature signal is low, or engine demand is high.
