Test L: Keyless Entry Does Not Program (Luxury)

  1. Install RADIO fuse. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between connector C304 terminal C9 (Yellow wire) and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, go to step  3 .
  2. Check for open in Yellow wire between connector C304 and Body Control Module (BCM). If problem was found, go to next step. If problem was not found, go to step  4 .
  3. Repair open in Yellow wire between connector C304 and BCM. After repair, recheck system.
  4. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between connector C304 terminal G2 (Pink wire) and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step  6 .
  5. Check for open in Pink wire between connector C304 and BCM. If problem was found, go to next step. If problem was not found, go to step  7 .
  6. Repair open in Pink wire between connector C304 and BCM. After repair, recheck system.
  7. Replace BCM. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article. After repair, recheck system.
