Control Rod: Removal

Raise and support vehicle, allowing suspension to hang freely. Remove wheel assembly. Disconnect brake flexhose from control rod bracket. Scribe location marks on mounting bracket and toe adjustment cam for installation reference. Remove adjustment cam nut and bolt. Remove outer control rod nut at knuckle. Remove control rod. Check control rod bushings for cracks, deterioration and wear.
