Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the storage compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  2. Remove the right side heater duct retainer.
  3. Remove the right side heater duct.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mode actuator.

  5. Remove the mode actuator screws.
  6. Remove the mode actuator.

  7. Remove the mode cam.
