Circuit Description

EBTCM measures output of lateral accelerometer. Usable output voltage range of lateral accelerometer is 0.25-4.75 volts. Scan tool will report a zero lateral accelerometer signal of 2.5 volts if there is no sensor bias and vehicle is on a flat surface.

DTC sets when ignition is on and lateral accelerometer voltage is less than 0.15 volts or greater than 4.85 volts for more than one second.
