Test D: Scan Tool Displays Undefined DTC

  1. Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
  2. Check scan tool for latest version of software. Update as necessary. After updating scan tool, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. If scan tool is okay, go to next step.
  3. Check scan tool if correct vehicle parameters are selected. Correct as necessary. After correcting vehicle parameters, DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. If vehicle parameter is correct, go to next step.
  4. Replace EBCM. After replacing EBCM, DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
