Diagnostic Aids

A faulty bulb, or short to ground or voltage in MIL control circuit will cause DTC P1641 to set. Check for intermittent problems (i.e., poor connections, rubbed through wire insulation or broken wire inside its insulation). See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
