Assembly Procedure

  1. Install the flow control spring (5), if removed from the pump housing (1).
  2. Lubricate the new O-ring seal (3) with power steering fluid.
  3. Install the O-ring seal (3) onto the connector and fitting assembly (2).
  4. Install the control valve assembly (4).
  5. Install the connector and fitting assembly (2). Tighten the connector and fitting assembly to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
