Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Safari and 2003 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Snap the bezel into the rear quarter panel in order to install the antenna bezel.
  2. Install the power antenna.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the power antenna bracket bolt (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the power antenna bracket bolt to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  4. Install the drain tube (1) to the grommet in the rear quarter panel.
  5. Connect the power antenna electrical connector (3).
  6. Connect the antenna cable (4) to the power antenna.
  7. Install the jack and the spare tire.
  8. Install the quarter inner rear trim finishing panel.
