Chevy Express & Savana

  1. Check PWR WDO (25-amp) fuse in instrument panel fuse block. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . If fuse is blown, go to step  4 . If fuse is not blown, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect master window switch assembly connector. Connect an ohmmeter between ground and master window switch assembly connector terminal "G" (Black wire). See Fig 1 . If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, go to step  5 .
  3. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Connect a test light between ground and master window switch assembly connector terminal "H" (Yellow wire). See Fig 1 . If test light does not illuminate, go to step  7 . If test light illuminates, go to step  6 .
  4. Repair short in Yellow wire between PWR WDO fuse terminal in instrument panel fuse block and either window switch connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  5. Repair open in Black wire between master window switch assembly connector terminal "G" and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  6. Replace master window switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  7. Repair open in Yellow wire between PWR WDO fuse terminal in instrument panel fuse block and master window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
