DTC B1480: Battery Rundown Protection Circuit Malfunction: Description

Battery rundown protection function allows BCM to disable courtesy lights 40 minutes after ignition is turned off. DTC will set when a short to ground on Orange wire or an open or short to power on Dark Blue wire exists. DTC B1480 can be cleared using scan tool, or history DTC will disappear after 100 ignition cycles if fault conditions do not reoccur.
