Automatic Transaxle Overhaul & Testing - 4T65-E: Identification: Notes

Transaxle has a metal identification plate and Service Replacement Transmission Assembly plate attached to rear face of transaxle. See Fig 1 . Transaxle RPO codes are M15, MN3 or MN7. The MN3 and MN7 are heavy duty models and have 10.2" (258 mm) torque converters. The M15 model has a 9.6" (245 mm) torque converter. For model build information on each RPO code, see Fig 2 -Fig 4 .
