Power Sliding Door (PSD) REINITIALIZATION

CAUTION: If radio is equipped with anti-theft protection, radio must be unlocked before preforming reinitialization procedure.
NOTE: Before performing PSD reinitialization, check for DTCs. See ENTERING DIAGNOSTIC MODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Reinitialization procedure is necessary if battery has been disconnected, PSD has malfunctioned, self-diagnostic has been entered and exited, or if IGN 1, PWR SEAT/PSD, RADIO or B/U LAMP fuse has blown or been removed.
  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Put PSD on/off switch (on overhead console) in OFF position. Manually open and close PSD. Ensure PSD is latched.
  2. Remove RADIO fuse from underhood electrical center for 30 seconds. Install RADIO fuse. Wait 10 seconds. Set PSD on/off switch to ON position.
  3. Open PSD completely using either PSD open/close switch. Wait 5 seconds and close PSD completely using either PSD open/close switch
  4. Wait 5 seconds and repeat step 3)  . Check PSD for proper operation.
