The Keyless Entry System includes a hand-held radio transmitter and remote control door lock receiver.

The transmitter sends a digitally encoded radio signal to the module when you push a button. The transmitter range is approximately 7 m (23 ft.). The transmitter can control the illuminated entry lamps, luggage compartment lid release, all door locks or just the driver's door lock.

The antenna/receiver is integrated internally within the remote control door lock receiver (RFA).
