Left Or Right Door Lock Switch Does Not Operate

  1. Connect test light between inoperative door lock switch connector Orange wire and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire.
  2. Connect test light between inoperative door lock switch Light Blue wire and ground. Place door lock switch in LOCK position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, replace inoperative door lock switch.
  3. Connect test light between inoperative door lock switch White wire and ground. Place door lock switch in UNLOCK position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, replace inoperative door lock switch.
  4. Operate inoperative door lock switch in both LOCK and UNLOCK positions. If LOCK position does not operate, repair open in Light Blue wire. If UNLOCK position does not operate, repair open in White wire. If both LOCK and UNLOCK positions do not operate, replace inoperative door lock switch.
