Power Circuit Open Test

  1. Check fuse No. 14. Check that cruise control module terminal "J" (Black wire) is grounded. Disconnect Yellow wire connector to cruise switch and check for battery voltage at Yellow wire with ignition switch in RUN position. If battery voltage is not present, check Yellow wire from fuse box to cruise control switch connector.
  2. If battery voltage is present, turn cruise switch on. Check for continuity between Brown and Gray wires on steering column side of multifunction lever. If switch is open, replace multifunction lever. Check for an open in Gray wire between multifunction lever and terminal "A" of cruise control module connector.
