Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM): Removal

  1. Turn ignition off. Refer to EBCM LOCATIONS table to locate EBCM on a specific model.
  2. On "F" body, remove lower dash panel below steering column. Remove left kick panel (M/T models). Remove EBCM connectors. Remove EBCM attaching nut to instrument panel. Cut EBCM push-in retainer from side wall. Remove EBCM from vehicle.
  3. On "W" body, remove left inner fender skirt to access to EBCM.
