Servo consists of a vacuum-operated diaphragm, a normally open vent solenoid valve to vent the diaphragm chamber to atmosphere and a normally closed vacuum solenoid valve to connect diaphragm chamber to vacuum source. On models with cruise control module, servo also has a variable inductance position sensor. Servo operates throttle in response to signals from cruise control module or ECM as follows:
