Ride Height Specifications

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 33 other vehicles, including the 1991 Pontiac Trans Sport, 1991 Oldsmobile Silhouette, 1991 Oldsmobile Bravada, 1991 GMC Vandura Special, and 1991 GMC Vandura. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Proper ride height is necessary for correct wheel alignment. Ensure tires are correctly inflated, cargo compartment is empty and fuel tank is full. Bounce vehicle several times to normalize ride height.
  2. Most vehicles provide front wheel alignment specifications which allow camber and caster adjustment for a large range of ride heights. See RIDE HEIGHT SPECIFICATIONS  table. Ride height measurement points are shown in illustrations. See Fig 1-16.
