Test Description

The following numbers refer to circled numbers in diagnostic chart.

1. Checks if off-board device can communicate with EBCM.
2. Checks for short to battery voltage in ABS serial data circuit.
3. Checks for short to ground in ABS serial data circuit.
4. Checks for open in ABS serial data circuit.
5. Checks if off-board device can communicate with EBCM.
6. If connections at EBCM and ALDL connector are okay, replace EBCM.
