Door Latch Module Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  . Move upper half of water deflector to gain access.
  2. Remve rear glass run channel retainer and screw.
  3. Remove outside door handle rod from door latch.
  4. Remove lock cylinder rod from door latch.
  5. Disconnect wire harness from lock actuator connector, if equipped.
  6. Remove rivets, using a 1/4-INCH drill bit.
  7. Remove screws. See Fig 1 .
  8. Remove door latch module assembly.
