Removal (Front Doors)

  1. Remove trim panel. See TRIM PANEL  .
  2. Remove water deflector. See WATER DEFLECTOR  .
  3. Remove rivet securing handle to door inner panel by first center punching a depression in head of rivet, then drilling out rivet using a 4.8 mm (3/16 in.) drill bit.See Figure , Figure and Figure .
  4. Inside remote handle by sliding rearward to disengage tabs on handle from slots in module assembly.
