Test Description

Numbers below refer to circled numbers in diagnostic chart.

1. Checks for correct resistance reading of the sensor.
2. Checks for short between wires of wheel speed sensor.
3. Checks for open in wires between wheel speed sensor and ECBM.
4. Checks for short to ground in circuit No. 872.
5. Checks for intermittent in wheel speed sensor circuitry.

If no intermittent is found, sensor may be faulty. Replace wheel speed sensor and road test vehicle. If code returns, replace ECBM.
