Instrument Panel Control Assembly

Consists of two units as follows: 1) Temperature Dial which permits selection of desired in-car temperature (65°F to 85°F in 5° graduations) and positions temperature dial rheostat accordingly (see SENSORS & TEMPERATURE DIAL RHEOSTAT ABOVE), 2) Selector lever operating an electrical switch (to select type of blower program desired) and a control head vacuum switch (to program vacuum system). Selector lever also operates defroster (through control head vacuum switch) so that defroster door is partially opened in DE-FOG position and fully opened in DE-ICE position. An amplifier located on bottom side of control head transforms sensor signal to a control voltage which operates the Transducer.
