Circuit/System Verification
- Vehicle On
- Verify no 12 V battery system voltage LOW DTCs are set or that a low 12 V battery condition was not present at the time P0BFD was set.
- If any of the DTCs were set or a low 12 V battery condition was present
Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle , or Battery Inspection/Test .
- Go to next step: If the DTCs were not set or a low 12 V battery condition was not present
- If any of the DTCs were set or a low 12 V battery condition was present
- Verify DTC P0BDF is not set in any of the Drive Motor Control Modules.
- If the DTC is set
- Clear the DTC, vehicle OFF for 10 minutes to allow all control modules to shut down.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets, Refer to: Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK.
