Removal Procedure
- Fold the rear seat back to the downward position.
Push in and slide outward, on either side of luggage shade, to disengage integral luggage spring from the quarter lower rear trim panel.
- Luggage Shade (1) - Remove
Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap - Left Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt - Left Side (2) - Remove [2x]
- Pull the quarter window trim finish panel (3) toward the inside of the vehicle to disengage the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel - Left Side (3) - Reposition
Use a small flat-bladed tool to open cargo tie down loop bolt caps to gain access to cargo tie down loop bolts (1).
- Using a breaker bar and a T40 Torx bit, loosen the cargo tie down bolt.
- Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt - Left Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- Cargo Tie Down Loop - Left Side (2) - Remove [2x]
Partially remove the left side quarter lower rear trim panel (1) to access the component.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Release the retaining tabs.
- Rear Gate Module (1) - Remove
NOTE:
Please be advised that the cargo tie down loop requires high torque efforts to remove.
