Removal Procedure
Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Pull rearward to clear the tab and remove the instrument panel outer trim cover (1).
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- WARNING:
When removing, handling or installing this component wear protective gloves. The sharp edges on the component may be very sharp and may cause injury.
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Remove
{If equipped} Instrument Panel Insulator Nut (1) - Remove
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Remove
- Instrument Panel Wiring Harness (3) @ Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Disconnect
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Left Side - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Release the retaining tab.
- Serial Data Gateway Module (1) - Remove
