Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power transfer unit bracket (2) to the power transfer unit case.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 2 power transfer unit bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Install the 3 power transfer unit bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  4. Install the power transfer unit heat shield. Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield Replacement 
  5. Install the right side front wheel drive half shaft. Front Wheel Drive Half Shaft Replacement - Right Side
