Installation Procedure

Install the starter. (2)

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the starter mounting bolts. (1) - Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
Connect the electrical connector. (1)

Battery Positive Cable (3) - Install
Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (2) - Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in).
Engine Oil Level Sensor (1) - Connect

Starter Shield - Install - Starter Shield Replacement (LT4)
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
