Installation Procedure

    Starter Solenoid Cable (3) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Starter Cable Retainer Fastener (4) - Install and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in)
  3. Starter Solenoid Fastener (2) - Install and tighten to 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
  4. Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
  5. Starter (5) - Install

    Starter Mounting Bolt (3) - Install and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  7. Starter Mounting Bolt (1) - Install and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

    Starter Heat Shield (1) - Install - Starter Shield Replacement (LF3)

    Turbocharger Oil Return Pipe-Bank 2 (2) - Install - Turbocharger Oil Return Pipe Replacement (Bank 2)

  10. Connect the electrical connector to the heated oxygen sensor - bank 2 sensor 1.
  11. Lower the vehicle.

    Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Water Outlet - Install - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LF3)

    Air Cleaner Assembly (2) - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF3)

  14. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) .
