Installation Procedure

  1. GM4488757Courtesy of GENERAL MOTORS COMPANY

    Fuel Vapor Containment Valve (3) - Install

  2. Fuel Vapor Containment Valve Bolt (2) - Install [2x]
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Fuel Vapor Containment Valve Nut (1) - Install [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Fuel Vapor Containment Valve and Pump Assembly (3) - Install

  5. Fuel Vapor Containment Valve and Pump Assembly Nut (2) - Install [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  6. Fuel Vapor Containment Valve and Pump Assembly Bolt (1) - Install 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. Connect the electrical connectors.
  8. Fuel Vapor Containment Valve Hose - Install - Fuel Vapor Containment Valve Hose Replacement (HP9) 
  9. Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose - Install - Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose Replacement (HP9) 
  10. Rear Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side - Install - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
