Removal Procedure
- Position the front side door window regulator rear rail to access and remove the door latch and handle bracket assembly. Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement
- Remove the front side door outside handle bracket screw. Front Side Door Outside Handle Bracket Replacement
- Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement - Remove
- Front Side Door Locking Rod Knob Replacement - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the front side door outside handle bracket, if equipped.
Front Side Door Latch Bolt (1) @ Front Side Door Latch - Remove [4x]
Front Door Outside Handle Bracket (1) @ the Front Side Door Latch (2) - Remove
- Front Side Door Outside Handle Cable Replacement - Remove
- Front Side Door Inside Handle Cable Replacement - Remove
NOTE:
Disconnect the window from the window regulator, place the window in the full up position, use masking tape to tape the window to the upper door frame.
