Installation Procedure

- Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor (3)» Install
- Multifunction Energy Storage Capacitor Fastener (1)» Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in) [2x]CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
- Electrical Connector (2) Connect
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable» Install
- Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable Nut (2)» Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
- Ground Cable (5)» Install
- Ground Cable Nut (4)» Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
- Protective Cap (1)» Install
- Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement » Install
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Perform Stop/Start Capacitor Control State Health Reset. Refer to Stop/Start Capacitor Control State of Health Reset
