Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator assembly (1) to the vehicle.

  2. Install the left and right charge air cooler radiator lower brackets from the radiator. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Radiator Lower Bracket Replacement - Left Side (LF3)  and Charge Air Cooler Radiator Lower Bracket Replacement - Right Side (LF3) .
  3. Install the engine coolant fan shroud (2) to the radiator. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LF3) .

  4. Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (2) to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF3 With V03) .

  5. Install the transmission fluid cooler pipe (2) to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement (LF3 With V03) .

  6. Install the radiator outlet hose (1) to the radiator. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LF3) .

  7. Install the auxiliary radiator inlet hose (3) to the auxiliary radiator. Refer to Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LF3) .

  8. Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the radiator. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LF3) .

  9. Connect the radiator surge tank inlet hose (2) to the radiator. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Replacement (LF3) .

  10. Install the air conditioning condenser (2). Refer Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement (LF3 with V03) .

  11. Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)  and Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
  12. Check the cooling system for leaks. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .
