Preliminary Procedure Open and support the hood.
1	Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap Procedure Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the finish cap.
2	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 38 N.m (28 lb ft)
3	Windshield Wiper Arm Procedure Gently rock the windshield wiper arm to remove it from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a NEW windshield wiper arm. Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment
