Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Seal (1).

  2. Install Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2)
  3. Install Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer (1)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install and tighten Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Fastener (2) (Qty: 2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in)
  5. Connect Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1)
  6. Connect the Fuel Feed Pipe - Fuel Tank to Engine to the Fuel Feed Pipe - at Engine. Refer to Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Fuel Tank To Engine LF4) Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (LF4 at Engine) 
  7. Install Engine Rear Noise Shield. Refer to Engine Rear Noise Shield Replacement (LF4) 
  8. Install Plenum Front Panel. Refer to Plenum Front Panel Replacement
  9. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
