Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator Bolt

  1. Install Generator (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install and tighten Generator Bolt (1) (Qty: 3) to 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

  3. Connect Electrical Connector (4)
  4. Install Starter Solenoid Cable (3)
  5. Install and tighten Generator Nut (2) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  6. Install Protective Cap (1)

  7. Install Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (1). Refer to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Replacement (LF4)

  8. Install Power Brake Booster Pump (1). Refer to Power Brake Booster Pump Replacement

  9. Install Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe (1). Refer to Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement (LF4 - Bank 1)Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement (LF4 - Bank 2)
  10. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (LF4)
  11. Install Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Removal and Installation (LF4)
  12. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
