Circuit/System Description

The instrument panel multifunction switch contains the ECO switch and ECO switch indicator. If the ECO Switch is pressed and other vehicle criteria are met, the body control module (BCM) will respond by entering start/stop mode and illuminating the ECO switch indicator. The ECO switch indicator receives B+ at all times. When ECO mode is active, the BCM illuminates the ECO switch indicator by providing ground to the ECO switch indicator control circuit.
