Preliminary Procedure  Remove the fuel injection fuel rail assemblies bank 1 and bank 2. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 1 (LF3) , and Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 2 (LF3) .
1	Knock Sensor Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten  25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Knock Sensor Procedure  Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector. Ensure that the knock sensor connector opening is directed toward the front of the engine.
