Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery Post Negative Cable Clamp Nut

  1. Install Battery Sensor Module (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Battery Post Negative Cable Clamp Nut (1) and tighten 4 N.m (35 lb in)

  3. Install Battery Negative Cable (4)
  4. Hold the battery negative terminal into position with a open ended wrench.(1)
  5. Install Battery Negative Cable to Battery Current Sensor Nut (2) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  6. Connect Electrical Connector (3)

  7. Install Spare Tire (2)
  8. Hand tighten Spare Tire Stowage Retainer (1)
  9. Install Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim Rear Compartment Front Trim Replacement
    10. NOTE:

    Start/Stop feature will not be available until the vehicle is allowed to sit for at least 3 hours undisturbed.

  10. If diagnosing a start/stop complaint, conduct the battery sensor module learn procedure to verify the repair. Refer to Battery Sensor Module Learn
