Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector.
  3. Remove the rear side door window rear channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Rear Channel Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear side door locking rod. Refer to Rear Side Door Locking Rod Replacement .
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear side door outside handle bracket for the luminous reflecting light, if equipped.
  6. Remove the rear side door outside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  7. Remove the rear side door outside handle bracket screw. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Bracket Replacement .
  8. Disconnect the rear side door latch electrical connector.

  9. Remove the four bolts (1) from the rear side door latch.

  10. Remove the outside handle bracket (1) and the rear side door latch (2) assembly from the vehicle.
